It has truly been an amazing year here at SunFire Entertainment. The stats are in and of the 46 weeks there was a Texas Music Chart we had a song in the Top 10 of the chart 39 weeks out of 46 weeks. That's a batting average of 85%!
Over both charts we had 12 songs go Top 10 and had 3 number 1 singles.
This year we welcomed new artists Rob Baird and Brian Keane to the SFE Family. Rob Baird, Josh Abbott, Jamie Richards, Rodney Parker and 50 Peso Reward released new music. Josh Abbott's record was named one of iTunes top 15 Best Country Albums of the year. Rodney Parker and 50 Peso Reward's new EP, The Apology I continues to be a top 10 best seller at Lonestar Music, and Granger continued to prove that he can not only write hit songs, but he can also make the funniest videos ever.

4.5.10 - Two #1 Singles
SunFire Entertainment is celebrating another milestone: Two Simultaneous #1 Singles! This week SFE has two #1 songs with Jack Ingram's "Free" at the number 1 spot on the Texas Music Chart and Josh Abbott Band's "She's Like Texas" at #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Report. This is Josh Abbott's first number one single!
4.5.10 - Sunfire entertainment moving to Nashville
Austin, TX – Texas Radio Promotion firm SunFire Entertainment will be relocating its offices from Austin, Texas to Nashville March 1st. SFE will be located inside the Love Shack Recording studios at 909 18TH Ave. South, Nashville, TN. The company, started by Belmont Alum Angela-Marie Lampton, is celebrating its five year anniversary. SFE recently achieved it’s 23rd top 10 single and had the longest running #1 song on the chart with Jack Ingram’s “Barefoot and Crazy.” The song was retired on the Texas Music Chart after achieving 12 consecutive weeks at #1.
12.30.09 - SUNFIRE ENTERTAINMENT DOMINATES IN 2009
Austin, TX – It’s been a banner year for Austin based record promotion company SunFire Entertainment. In 2009, SFE achieved it’s 23rd top 10 single, (10 overall for the year) and had the longest running #1 song on the chart with Jack Ingram’s “Barefoot and Crazy.” The song was retired on the Texas Music Chart after achieving 12 consecutive weeks at #1.
In all, SFE had at least one song in the top 10 of the Texas Music Chart 38 out of the 48 charts for 2009. In addition, the company also achieved having four songs in the top 10 for over two months, more than any other promotion company during that period.
SFE also had three singles in the Top 10 of 2009 on both the Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio Report.

Jamie Richards’ “Whiskey Nights” came is at #4 on the TRRR and # 9 on the TMC

Austin, TX – Austin based Entertainment company SunFire Entertainment is celebrating its first number one single today with D Records recording artist Jamie Richards’ single “Drive.” The song is number one on both the Texas Music Chart and Texas Regional Radio Report. “Drive” is the title track of Richards’ current album and was co-written with friend and Nashville songwriter Wayd Battle.

5.5.08 - Jamie Richards achieves 6th top 10 single with "Drive" - Sunfire Celebrates 9th Top 10 single
Austin, TX – D Records Country recording artist Jamie Richards is celebrating his 6th top Ten single of his career with his song “Drive.” The single made a record 250 spin jump on the Texas Music Chart catapulting the song from number 14 to number 7. “Drive” is the second single and title track of his third album.
“I am absolutely thrilled that the song is doing so well and am very thankful to radio for their continued support.” says Richards. “The song is one of my personal favorites on the album and reunites me with my friend and co-writer Wayd Battle who also co-wrote “Last Call” with me on my previous record.”
Richards’ top 10 single is the 9th top 10 single that SunFire Entertainment has promoted and is the third top 10 single SFE has promoted for Jamie Richards.
